Real money backgammon

I usually play real money backgammon at Play65 because they are one of the largest sites. I have been very pleased with them, they have good support and multilangual software and is one of if not the backgammon site with the most players online at any given time.

Why play with real money?

It is possible to play for free at Play65 and it is an excellent way to learn the game. However I do not quite understand those that never starts to play with money. Don't get me wrong it is a very entertaining, deep and sophisticated game, but in the end I want the little extra spice which a game about money has. Of course there are some leagues where one can play with points and I can see that that is very entertaining for some, but I am probably too old to feel thrilled by that. Also, in the free games the opponent often do not care enough to play a serious game. I might add this, there are sites which charge a monthly fee and arrange backgammon games online with no stakes. But really, why not play with real money but with lower stakes instead? then you even have the chance to win money and if you lose it is the same thing as paying the membership fee at one of those membership-fee sites. Anyway, Play65 is the way to go for me, at least for now and I don't see why I should change anytime soon. Have a happy time and if you meet me at the backgammon tables I'll take your money!
